  • At Girl Get Up Society, our mission is simple and deeply needed:

To ensure girls and women ages 13+ across South Carolina have access to mental health care and the support services they need.

Every day, we serve girls and women navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, burnout, and major life transitions — often while still showing up for families, schools, jobs, and communities.

They show up full-time.
They carry a lot.
And they deserve support.

That’s why we believe: Support is the New Strength.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Your donation helps sustain programs that meet people where they are — emotionally, mentally, and practically.

Girl Grow provides therapy sessions, life coaching, support groups, and healing workshops.
Girl Power offers school-based mental health programs for middle and high school girls.
Girl Live delivers wellness boxes filled with coping tools and mental health resources.
Girl Smile spreads encouragement through random acts of kindness.
Girl Boss supports professional and personal development.

These programs create real change — but they rely on consistent funding.

Why Your Support Matters in 2026

We believe in transparency.

Right now, Girl Get Up Society is supported by a small group of monthly donors who help keep our programs running. However, our current recurring support covers only part of what it takes to operate sustainably.

To serve our community with consistency, cover basic operating expenses, and continue offering mental health programs, we must grow our base of supporters.

That’s why our 2026 fundraising goal is $25,000.

These funds support:

  • Mental health programs and therapy access
  • School-based Girl Power expansion
  • Wellness boxes and community support
  • General operating support that allows us to stay responsive, stable, and available

General support isn’t “extra.”
It’s what allows us to answer calls, show up for schools, support facilitators, and continue serving girls and women when they need us most.
