These struggles often go unnoticed, unspoken, and unsupported. The reality? Over 50% of girls and women with a mental health diagnosis don’t receive the care they desperately need due to the high cost of services or lack of insurance.

At Girl, Get Up Society, we believe every girl and woman in SC deserves access to mental healthcare and the support services they need. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to provide accessible, life-changing mental health services to those who need them most. But we can’t do this without you.

• Tasha's Story (Grief): After losing her mother, Tasha felt lost, overwhelmed by pain. She found her way to our grief therapy group, where she learned how to process her loss, rebuild her confidence, and rediscover hope. “This program saved me. I don’t know where I’d be without it,” she shared.
• Maria’s Journey (Trauma): Maria came to us after years of emotional and physical abuse. Through our sponsored therapy services, she found safety, healing, and empowerment to break free and reclaim her life.
• Kim’s New Beginning (Anxiety & Job Changes): A single mother, Kim, was battling severe anxiety after losing her job. With our counseling services and community resources, she found emotional support and secured a new position. “Your program reminded me I’m stronger than I think.”
